MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Myrtle Beach Speedway hosted its first week of the 24th annual Myrtle Beach 400 on Friday and Saturday.
Gerald Benton kicked off the weekend by winning the Southeast Limited Late Model Challenger feature on Friday. On Saturday, Andrew Durham was the first driver to visit Victory Lane after winning the 40-lap Mini Stock feature. Hayes Goodson, driver of the No. 13 Florence-Darlington Technical College Super Truck won the 100-lap feature after starting on the pole and making a late-race charge fore the victory. The final race of the weekend at the NASCAR-sanctioned track was the 100-lap Southeast Limited Late Model Pro feature that was won by Terry Evans.
