Quaker State 400 Entry List/Schedule

SPARTA, Ky. — For the first time since 2001, less than 43 entrants have submitted entries for a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

42 teams have entered for this weekend’s Quaker State 400, the fourth-ever race at the Kentucky Speedway for the Sprint Cup Series. Absent from the entry list is the No. 77 Randy Humphrey Racing entry, who also skipped Sonoma and are currently undergoing an internal reconstructing.

Travis Kvapil will make his 12th start of the year in the No. 32 Go FAS Racing Fusion while David Stremme will make his sixth start of the year for Hillman-Circle Sport LLC in the No. 33 Little Joe Autos SS.

Seven drivers will make their first career start at Kentucky on Saturday night, those drivers are Michael Annett (Tommy Baldwin Racing), Alex Bowman (BK Racing), Cole Whitt (BK Racing), Reed Sorenson (Tommy Baldwin Racing), Kyle Larson (Chip Ganassi Racing), Justin Allgaier (HScott Motorsports), and Ryan Truex (BK Racing.)

Three drivers are attempting to run triple-duty this weekend. Brad Keselowski (Team Penske), Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing), and Joe Nemechek (Identity Ventures Racing) are all entered for the Quaker State 400, the Nationwide Series’ John R. Elliott HERO Campaign 300, and the Camping World Truck Series’ UNOH 225.
